Netizens have responded angrily to the Indian government’s pass to trade famous Muslim poet Akbar Allahabadi’s title, Indian media reported Tuesday.
The poet has now been renamed as Akbar Prayagraj, per the Uttar Pradesh Greater Education Companies Rate (UPHESC), an self sufficient body under the articulate government.

The Allahabad district was renamed Prayagraj in 2018 by the extremist government of Yogi Adityanath.
