The Ogun Affirm House of Meeting has handed the 2022 appropriation bill as equipped by Governor Dapo Abiodun barely a month within the past.
DAILY POST recalls that Gov Abiodun had on November 30 equipped the 2022 appropriation bill of N350.74 billion to the Meeting.
On Wednesday, the lawmakers, at a session presided over by the Speaker, Olakunle Oluomo, handed N350,735 billion, while adjusting some recurrent and or capital estimates of about 182 agencies.
The bill used to be handed after the Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Olakunle Sobunkanla, equipped his document.
After transferring the motion for the adoption of the document, it used to be seconded by his Vice, Ganiyu Oyedeji and supported by the final House thru a express vote.
The bill used to be thereafter read and adopted clause-by-clause by the Committee of the House.
Talking, Oluomo acknowledged the assembly had performed itsy-bitsy adjustments within the recurrent and capital expenditures of some MDAs, resulting within the cut price within the final recurrent expenditure from the initial N172.997bn to N153.180bn resulting in N19.816bn decrease.
Oluomo added that capital expenditure used to be elevated from N177.737bn to N197.554bn, giving an increment of N19.816bn.
The motion for the third studying of the bill used to be moved by the Majority Chief, Yusuf Sheriff, seconded by Oludaisi Elemide and supported by the Total House, while the Clerk who’s also head of legislative service, Mr. ‘Deji Adeyemo did the third studying of the bill sooner than the contributors.
Meanwhile, the Speaker has directed that the dapper copy of the bill be transmitted to the governor for his assent.
