U.S. prosecutors in Miami own detained and charged a 2nd suspect in reference to the July assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse, highlighting growth by American investigators at the same time as the six-month probe in Haiti stays stalled.
Haitian businessman Rodolphe Jaar seemed in a Miami federal court Thursday on prices he supplied weapons, ammunition and housing to worn Colombians troopers who allegedly killed the president, U.S. prosecutors acknowledged. Mr. Jaar, who had been arrested earlier this month in the Dominican Republic, didn’t enter a plea.
